An early Sunday morning fire claimed a life.

Yuma County Sheriff's Office and Rural Metro Fire responded to a residential fire at 5:20 a.m. Sunday. On arrival, emergency responders found a manufactured home in the 400 block of S. May Avenue completely engulfed in flames with reports of an individual still inside. Rural Metro Fire extinguished the blaze and the occupant of the home was found dead in the house. Identity of the victim was not released pending notification of next of kin. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
