Calexico Police make arrests in two separate incidents.

A man wanted in regards to an armed robbery that occurred on September 25, 2022. Anthony Angel Flores, a known gang member with a history of firearm possession, was arrested. Flores is suspected of robbing a Calexico jewelry store. Flores was take into custody early Tuesday morning and turned over to FBI agents for federal prosecution.

In a separate incident, Calexico officers engaged in a vehicle pursuit that started on Imperial Avenue in the border city when the car's driver failed to stop. The pursuit ended just north of Heber Road when the vehicle went out of control and overturned. It turned out that the driver, Yasmin Campos, was wanted by the U.S.Marshals Service. A search of her vehicle led to the discovery of items that indicated a mobile identity theft operation. Campos was taken into custody.
