The driver and a passenger on a RZR OHV died in a Monday afternoon traffic accident.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, the Polaris RZR was northbound on S. Avenue 14E and failed to yield to a car that was eastbound on E. 48th Street. Both occupants of the Polaris were ejected from the Off Highway Vehicle. Both driver and passenger were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center where they later died. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation
