Innercare, formally Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo, has partnered with the North American Development Bank (NADBank) and secured a $36 million loan to develop a new healthcare facility in the Imperial Valley.
The new clinic will be a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly or PACE Center. The 55,000 square foot facility will be built at Highway 86 and Neckel Road in the City of Imperial. The facility will provide healthcare services for the elderly as well a medical clinic and pharmacy for patients of all ages.
Innercare President and Chief Executive Officer Yvonne Bell said, " Our new PACE Center in the City of Imperial will meet the growing need for specially designed services that allow seniors to thrive in their communities while lowering costs compared to traditional institutional care". PACE centers provide physicians, social workers, nurses, nutritionists, as well as physical and occupational therapists.
Gascon, Inc will manage th construction of the facility. Gascon is currently building the 108-room Cambria Hotel o the same site.
