(Annual Veterans Walk will be Friday)...It is the 11th Annual Imperial Valley Veterans Day Walk).....It starts in Brawley.

Participants are bused to Westmorland City Park, and then they walk back to Brawley. Participants will gather before 7 am at the ELKS Lodge #1420, 161 South Plaza Park in Brawley. The bus will leave at 7 am for Westmorland City Park. The participants will then make the 8 mile walk stright down Highway 86 to the ELKS Lodge. Water and restrooms will be available during the walk. Food will be provided at the end of the walk. The event is free and open to the public.
