Get ready for the Brawley Cattle Call.

This is the 67th edition of the annual event. Festivities kicked off last weekend and have been continuing this week, but the parade and rodeo are coming this weekend. The first of three rodeo performances will be held Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Cattle Call Arena. Saturday morning starts real early with the Chuckwagon Breakfast at 5:30 a.m. The parade starts at 9:00 a.m. A second rodeo performance will be held Saturday evening at 7 and a Sunday Family Day matinee with free pony rides, face painting and, something new, Break Away Roping, starts at 1:00 p.m. After the Sunday performance there will be mariachi music featuring Mariachi Acero del Valle.
