Her staff started the yearly Multi-Pest Survey in Calexico on October 2nd, by collaborating with a company that utilizes dogs to sniff out pests. The County conducts the Multi-Pest Survey ar residential properties along a 2-mile stretch of the International Border. The purpose is to detect a wide range of insects and diseases affecting citrus trees. A primary target is the Asian Citrus Psyllid and a disease that ACP transmits. It is called Huanlongbing.
