(Two collisions Wednesday morning)...Both are being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

The first one was reported at 9 Wednesday morning. Eastbound traffic was backed up on Interstate 8, east of Mountain Springs Road. Two vehicles in the line collided. No injuries were reported. At just after 10 am on Highway 111, near Heber Road, a grey Hyundai collided with a grey Honda. The CHP says one vehicle collided into the back of the other vehicle. An ambulance was called to the scene, but no other details have been released on the accident.
