An early morning accident resulted in injuries to two individuals and the arrest of a driver.

The accident occurred at 12:50 a.m at 5th and Main in downtown El Centro. Two vehicles were involved. Two people were injured and transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The 30-year-old driver of one of the vehicles was booked at Imperial County Jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence.
