(Two incidents, minutes apart)....The first incident was reported at 8:28 Monday morning.

The California Highway Patrol says a vehicle was traveling South on Highway 86. The vehicle went out of control, traveling across the roadway into the Northbound lanes, ending on the shoulder of the Highway South of the Border Patrol Checkpoint. An occupant in the vehicle was injured and an ambulance was called. The extent of the injuries is not known. At 8:46 Monday Morning the CHP says somebody dropped a bucket of grease on Highway 78 near Seybert Road. They said the slippery material leaked across the roadway. A road crew was called in. They covered the material with powder and swept the debris away. Both incidents are under investigation.
