(Colorado River Drought)....It is still here.

Officials say Tropical Storm Hilary, along with the increased winter snow pact, added water to Lake Mead. In fact, the latest information is that the lake currently stands at close to 1,064 feet above mean sea level according to information collected by Lake Levels. This is over 20 feet higher than where the Lake was one year ago. That is still about 20 feet under where the Lake was in 2020. Colorado River Expert, Brad Udall told USA Today, as far as the drought is concerned, these new numbers buys a year. He said it doesn't remotely come close to solving the long-term problems. He said big snow years are happening about half as often as before, and dry years are happening about 2.5 times as often. He said the only real solution was to use less water.
