Memorial Day Ceremonies were held from Brawley to Calexico. Several participated in a walk to honor the fallen heroes. Veterans and other community members walked early Monday morning from Westmorland to Riverview Cemetery in Brawly, where Memorial Day ceremonies were held. In El Centro, a Ceremony was held at Evergreen Cemetery at 9 am. Another Memorial Day Ceremony was held at Bucklin Park at 10 am. Veterans and community members also gathered at Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
