A man was seriously injured in a traffic accident Friday morning.
The accident occurred at 6th and Heil in El Centro at abut 10:43 a.m. Friday. A moped rider was seriously injured and was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center and then airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured.
