Imperial County has hire a firm to look for federal and state funds.

On Tuesday, the County Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with The Ferguson Group for grant services to pursue federal and state funding opportunities. Late last year The Ferguson Group and the California State Association of Counties teamed up for a Grants Initiative Program to better guide counties through grant identification, preparation, and writing as well as to help counties better understand grant opportunities and how to compete for them. Imperial County will use the program to leverage the expertise of the participating organizations.
