(Holiday Weekend coming up)....Memorial Day is to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

On Monday there will be Memorial Day Services at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, at Bucklin Park in El Centro and at Mountain View Cemetery in Calexico. Government offices, federal institutions such as banks, and the Imperial Irrigation District offices will be closed. Local, County and IID emergency services will be available. The California Highway Patrol will go into their Maximum Enforcement Period at 6 Friday evening. The MEP will continue through 11 pm Monday night.
