(Drug Enforcement Administration Drop-off program)....The latest event was held April 22.

During aanual events, the DEA partners with law enforcement agencies across the nation to collect unneeded Presription medications. The purpose is to protect communities from prescription misuse. In April nearly 5,000 drop-off sites were set-up. During the one day event 663,725 pounds of unneeded medications were collected. Since the first Take-Back Day in 2010, they have removed more than 17 million pounds of unnecessary medications from the communities across the country.
