The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.

Among the actions the Board took was to adopt a resolution granting Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth National Independance Day, June 19, 2023, as a County paid holiday. In other action the Board made several appointments. Sarah Curry was appointed to the Hener Community Advisory Board for a two-year term. Patricia Ann Thompson was appointed to the Ocotillo Area Community Advisory Board for a two-year term. Benjamin J. Horton was appointed to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board.

The Board designated $2,500 to support the Imperial Valley College Foundation for expenses relayed to the 60yj Anniversary and Hall of Fame Gala.
