The California Mid-Winter Fair Heritage Foundation, Inc awarded the scholarships to Daniel Calsada, Karen Gonzalez, Abigail Hester, Gianna Irungaray, Gianni Mayo, Amber Weller, and Emily Phillips. The scholarships are funded bt a dinner and silent auction held annually. The Foundation was established in 2011 by members of the community who are dedicated to supporting projects to ensure continued operation of the Fair for the youth of the community. The scholarship fund was established in 2019 to assist in continuing education for the Imperial Valley students in technology school, trade school or college, with an emphasis in an agriculture area.
