(San Diego State University/Imperial Valley Campus Commencement)....The ceremony will be Tuesday, May 16 at 7 pm, at Rollie Carrillo Quad.

An estimated 400 graduating students will participate in the 2023 ceremony. The top five majors for the class of 2023 are; 95 Psychology major, 765 Criminal Justice Majors, 51 Liberal Studies majors, 22 Social Work majors, and 17 Nursing majors. As part of the ceremony, SDSU Imperial Valley will award Brawley native Jose Padilla with an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree for his commitment in providing free legal services to low income residents of rural counties and agricultural workers. Padilla's sister, Irene Salazar, will accept the degree on his behalf at the ceremony.
