(National Police Week starts Sunday, May 14th).....Imperial City Council recently adopted a proclamation, declaring the week in the City of Imperial.

May 15 in National Peace Officers Memorial Day. Imperial County honored the fallen peace officer with an event last week. The flags and memorials  will remain in place at the County Courthouse in El Centro through National Police Week.
