The 14th Annual Dancing With the Stars Gala is set for this Friday night.

The glittery event is sponsored by the Imperial Valley Regional Occupation Program Community Foundation and will be held at the Quechan Casino Resort in Winterhaven. The 2023 Stars that will be competing are:

Rosie Allegranza, Executive Director, Holtville Chamber of Commerce

Geoff Dale, Past Councilmember and Mayor of the City of Imperial

Matthew Jaime, Clinical Dietician, El Centro Regional Medical Center

Mary Lara, Nail Technician, Amelia's Hair Designs

Candice Loera Ortiz, HR Director, El Centro Elementary School District

Luis Minor, Past Ramrod, Los Vigilantes

The dancers compete for the People's Choice Award as well as competing, along with a "professional dancer, to be the 2023 Champion. The Gala is a major fund-raising event of the Imperial Valley Regional Occupation Program Community Foundation.
