A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence late Sunday.

El Centro Police responded to 1st and Main Streets at about 11:45 p.m. Sunday after receiving several reports of an accident. a car had swerved off the street and struck a utility pole. Several phone lines were knocked down. The Honda Pilot the struck the pole and rolled over sustained major damage, the driver was not injured. Following a Field Sobriety Test, the driver was arrested and booked at Imperial County Jail for Driving Under the Influence.
