Expect high winds on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the San Diego Mountains and the Imperial Valley. The warning is for west winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts in the mountains up to 80 mph in the mountains. Imperial Valley forecasts are for winds gusting up to 55 mph. Temperatures will dip to below normal levels for the next several days and the San Diego area, including the mountains, calls for rain. Travel on Interstate 8 is expected to be affected.
