El Centro Police officers made a traffic stop late Saturday night.

The driver of the car took off running but the passenger stayed with the car and ended up in jail. The car was stopped in the area of 5th and Lenrey. The driver ran while the 43-year-old passenger was detained. The passenger was found in possession of 15 M-30 pills and was booked into Imperial County Jail of Drug Possession charges.
