(County Sheriff Fred Miramontes makes the announcement)...It is the Sheriff's annual uniform and equipment inspection.

It will take place this Wednesday at 8:30 in the morning. It will be held at the Casa De Manana Building at the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds. The Uniform Inspection allows the Sheriff to inspect that all employees meet the policy standards, conform to uniform regulations and are in serviceable conditions. During the event, the newly elected Sheriff will swear in his staff under his leadership. For safety and security reasons, the event will not be open to the public.
