A traffic stop in Brawley resulted in three arrests and the seizure of nearly 27 ounces of fentanyl.

Brawley Police stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of Main Street on Tuesday. During the stop, a Brawley Police K-9 alerted to the vehicle and a subsequent search led to the discovery of nearly 12 ounces of fentanyl pills. While officers were conducting their investigation, another vehicle was observed driving suspiciously in the area. A traffic stop was conducted on the second vehicle and a K-9 alerted to that vehicle. An additional 15 ounces of fentanyl pills was found. Three men were arrested as a result of the investigations. All the men are residents of Arizona and all were booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of Illegal Transportation and Possession of Narcotics. Bail was set at $50,000 each.
