(The Date for the count is almost here)....It is the 2023 Point in Time Count.

That is the annual homeless count. It starts January 27th, and volunteers are still needed. The results of the count determines the amount of funding available to help the homeless. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. The general homeless population is counted from 5:30 to 10:00 am on January 27th. The homeless population at Slab City is counted on January 28 from 10 am to 1 pm. To volunteer call Jacob Bermudez at 760-337-7825. Volunteers must attend training.
