(HPUD Announces new General Manager)....The announcement was released Tuesday.

Madeline Dessert was named General Manager of the Heber Public Utility. She was previously employed at the Imperial County Area Agency on Aging. The Imperial Valley native has a Bachelors Degree in Politics from the University of San Francisco, as well as a paralegal certificate in General Litigation from the University of San Diego. Dessert has experience in financial management, grant management and has managed both public and private entities. In a press release, Dessert said she was honored to have been selected as the General Manager of the Heber Public Utility and she said she looked forward to serving the community of Heber.
