(Calexico Police Arrest one)....They had responded to a domestic dispute call.

The incident occurred late last week. Officers arrived at the scene at 1029 East Second Street. As they arrived, officials say officers heard shots fired from inside the residence. The officers were able to communicate with Ramon Landeros who was inside the residence. The suspects daughter eventually came out of the house and told officers her father was alone inside. A short time later, Landeros came out unarmed. The man was taken into custody. Officers found an AK-47. It was determined the man had an extensive criminal history. He was booked into County Jail on charges of being a felon in possession of firearms, felon in possession of ammunition, felon in possession of body armor, negligent discharge of a weapon and child endangerment.
