Kids belong on school grounds but not on Christmas Day.

El Centro police responded to Central Union High School shortly after 4:00 p.m. Christmas Day after receiving a report of two juveniles jumping a fence on Holt Street to get on to the high school campus. After initially being unable to locate the trespassers, officers were informed that the pair was at the new STEM Building and were observed throwing chairs and desks around. One of the two was also said to have taken a selfie of himself before fleeing the building and running through the football field. Officers were able to catch up with the pair in the area of 10th and Brighton. The two face charges of trespassing, malicious mischief and resisting arrest. They were turned over to their guardians.
