Two people were injured in an accident early Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol the accident occurred at about 2:50 a.m. on State Route 111 just south of Aten Road. A vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over ending up on it's roof against a utility pole. The driver and a passenger in the vehicle were transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The accident remains under investigation.
