(Deputy Arrested in November)....34 year old William Ayala was arrested on November 21.

The 10 year veteran of the Sheriff's Department was charged with 4 felony counts alleging he defrauded a fallen officer's fund and lied to an employee appeals board. Ayala has entered a plea of not guilty. His preliminary hearing will be held January 11. The Deputy is on administrative leave with pay.
