A driver reported that he ran off the road early Thursday morning when he tried to avoid a coyote.

The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Highway 86 about 5 miles north of the Border Patrol checkpoint. There were no injuries. Investigators are reviewing surveillance video of the accident to determine the identity of the coyote that was said to be wearing roller skates with an ACME brand rocket strapped to his back.
