(County Board meets Tuesday)...It is their regular weekly meeting.

Public session begins at 10 am. The Supervisors encouyrage the public to view the meeting via live stream, available on the County website. Public session begins with a plaque presentation to Patricia Valenzuela for her 30 years service to the county. The Board will be asked to adopt a proclamation declaring September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. On their action agenda, the Board will consider a resolution extending remote meetings. The Public Health Department will make a presentation on COVID 19 and Monkeypox. There will be a presentation regarding the completion of the California Behavioral Health Planning Council 2022 Data Notebook, as required by the California Behavioral Health Boards and Commissions. Real Hope Center Pregnancy Resource Center will make a presentation. The Board is to discuss the proposed Agricultural Benefit Scholarship Program. Action will be considered on the agreement with the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program for the Housing Support Program for fiscal year 2022-2023. And the Board will be ask to adopt a resolution adopting the plans and specifications for the County Project for the Imperial County North Acounty Administration/Courthouse. The Planning and Development Department and the Public Works Department will hold two separate Public Hearings.
