The Calexico Bulldogs traveled to Palo Verde to take on the Yellowjackets. They made into the third quarter, when rain, lightening and a black-out forced officials to cancel the game. At the cancelation the game was tied at 7. The first game broadcast on KXO am 1230 is this evening. Central Spartans visit the Mt. Carmel Sun Devils. Air time is 6:45 pm. Other games tonight feature Southwest at Holtville, Calipatria at Desert Christian, Vincent takes on San Diego and Brawley hosts Scripps Ranch. The Imperial Tigers have a bye. Their season begins August 26th, when they host West Hills. That game will be broadcast on the KXO website, kxoradio.com.
