(A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Monday morning)....It happened at 9:00 Monday morning.

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries. It happened on Highway 111 and east Yocum Road. The area was closed off to allow the investigation to take place. Traffic was rerouted. The investigation is on-going and more information is expected later.
