(Imperial County is in a break from Monsoonal moisture)...The National Weather Service says the moisture should return on Thursday.

That will bring back chances for storms and thunderstorms. Before moving on, the moisture brought more storms to Winterhaven, Yuma, Mexicali and part of Brawley over the weekend. In Winterhaven 587 residents experienced power outages, as the Imperial Irrigation District crews were repairing damage from last Wednesdays storm. Power outages, downed poles and debris was also reported in Yuma and in parts of Mexicali. The Weather Service says the region is in a warm up until Thursday, with temperatures are expected above normal until Thursday. Once the moisture returns, storm chance will increase, and temperatures are expected to lower into the 90's.
