El Centro Police are investigating a hit and run accident reported Sunday morning.

The accident occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Smoketree Drive. The driver of a Dodge Ram pick-up truck struck a parked Cadillac Escalade and then fled the scene. The truck was seen heading southbound on 4th Street and then was abandoned in the area of 4th and Wake Avenues. The driver is described as a Hispanic man about 30-years-old and bald. The suspect vehicle was impounded.
