HR 3877 moving on)... It is the Salton Sea Projects Improvements Act.

It was authored by Congressman Raul Ruiz. The US House of Representatives recently passed the legislation. The bill is designed to drive federal investment in the Salton Sea. It would significantly expand the ability of the Bureau of Reclamation at the Department of Interior to partner with state, local and tribal governments and other entities to address the public health and environmental crisis at the Salton Sea. In a release, Ruiz said his Act would unlock $250 million for the Bureau of Reclamaton to add more shovels to the ground and poursue new projects that will protect publics health.
