(The next election is November 8)....It is the Consolidated General Election, also known as the mid-term election.

The local ballots will be full of special districts. They include School Districts, Utility Districts, Hospital Districts and more. Cities on the ballot include; Brawley, Calexico, Calipatria, El Centro, Holtville, Imperial and Westmorland. Declarations of Candidacy are currently being accepted. Most candidates will file with the County Registrar of Voters Office. Candidates in the City Races will file in their individual cities. The filing period ends August 12. Filings will be extended for offices in which no incumbent files for re-election.
