(A man seen entering the Central Main Canal in Calexico)...IID employees reported the incident, saying it appeared the man was struggling to swim.

The employees called Calexico Police. The California Highway Patrol Air Support, and an El Centro Sector Border Patrol BORSTAR Team were also called in. The BORSTAR divers located the body at around 6:20 Wednesday evening. Calexico Fire, who were also on scene, pronounced the man dead. No information on the man has been released.
