(San Diego Sector Border Patrol.)....They made several rescues over the 4th of July Holiday Weekend.

Saturday 5 Nicaraguan were reported lost. An early morning 911 call was received from the San Diego side of the county line in the Jacumba Mountain Wilderness. Within an hour, Border Patrol agents located the five, 4 women and one man. All declined medical attention. It was determined they had entered the US illegally. They were processed for deportation to their country of origin. Sunday morning an agent was actively pursuing a group of migrants in the Jamul area. The agent came across an unresponcive female and her husband.. Two Border Patrol agents trained as EMT's arrived on scene. They rendered emergency medical attention, and transported the woman to a hospital. It was determined the man and woman were Mexican Nationals and had entered the US illegally.
