(County Board faces a lengthy agenda)...County Board of Supervisors meet Tuesday.

Returning to their regular schedule after being off for the holiday last week. The public portion of the meeting will begin with presentations.. A resolution will be approved honoring Elva M. Quezada for her 15 years of dedicated service to the county. Miriam Torales will be recognized as the May Employee of the Month. The Board will hold Employee Milestone recognitions for June. And they will recognize the retiree of the Month for June. The Public Health Department will deliver a COVID 19 presentation. The Air Polution Control Officer will make a presentation on the 7th annual Lawn Equipment Exchange Program. The Public Works Director will discuss filling several positions. Human Resources and Risk Management also has several issues on the agenda. The Supervisors will be asked to approve recommendations to balance the new County Budget, and they will be asked to begin Budget hearings on August 23rd. The Supervisors meet in Board Chambers at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
