The Imperial County Public Health Department updated the numbers for COVID-19 in the county.

The update, released Thursday morning, shows that three additional deaths have been verified. The number of deaths attributed to the coronavirus is now 941. The number of active cases in the Valley dropped from 571 on Tuesday to 562 on Thursday. The latest metrics show that there are 27.70 new cases per day per 100,000 population and that there is a 13.5% positivity rate locally.
