(County Supervisors holding two meetings Tuesday)...They will holkd their regular weekly meeting.
They will also hold their first off-site meeting of the year. The regular Board meeting begins at 8:30 Tuesdasy morning in the Board Chambers in the Administration Building on Main Street in El Centro. That meeting will be to discuss closed session items. The off-site meeting will be held in the Gumnasiun at Vincent Memorial High School in Calexico. That meeting begins at 6:00 pm. That eeting has several action items. There will be a presentation on the New River Project by the Project manager Jose L, Angel. The Air Pollution Control Officer, Matt Desert, will conduct a presentation on the Calexico Alley Project. The Board will discuss and possibly take action on the Community Benefit Program Loan Agreement with Niland County Sanitation District.. They will discuss a letter to Governor Newsom and key legislators, expressing gratitude for their leadership and support related to the Lithium Valley Development. They will discuss a letter to Dr. Maria Elena Giner on her recent appointment as Commissioner for the International Boundary and Water Commission. And the Board will discuss authorizing public bidding for Bombay Beach Townsite Roadway Improvement Projects.
