(You're leaving money on the table).....That is the message the Defense Commissary Agency is saying to military retirees and other eligible beneficiaries.
The other beneficiaries include disabled veterans and their designated family caregivers, Purple Heart recipients and former prisoners of war. They qualify for a shopping benefit. Shopping at the commissary puts more than 20 percent savings in your pocket, every time you shop. That equals $20-$25 on every $100 of groceries bought, according to Sgt. Major Michael Saucedo, senior enlisted adviser to the DeCA Director. Other benefits include internet shopping with online ordering and curbside pickup.
