Long-term Care Ombudsman Karla Flores is organizing the distribution. They are going to seniors in long-term care facilities. The robotic pets help combat lonliness and social isolation that many seniors experience, especially as we venture out of the COVID 19 pandemic. Although many of the guidelines have been changed, many seniors will continue to experience lonliness and isolation and it is important we do our part to show our seniors love and appreciation.
