(The County Board of Supervisors meet Tuesday)....It is a public meeting.
The Board, however, prefers the public view the meeting electronically. That is possible through Live Stream, available on the County website, or via zoom. Those who would like to comment at the meeting should contact the Clerk Of the Board for the options available. The Board will bvegin their meeting with presentations. A proclamation will be discussed and possibly approved declaring the month of April as Autism Awareness month. There will be a resolution honoring Lori Robinson for her years of service with the County. There will be presentations for Employee of the Month for February, retiree of the month of March and employee milestones for the month of March. A COVID 19 update will be presented by the County Public Health Department. A community benefit grant will be discussed for the Niland Santitation District in order to pay off a 1993 loan. An organizational Provider agreement with Varsity Team Incorporated will be discussed. The Supervisors will discuss changes to the Agricultural Benefit Scholarship Program. The Board will consider a resolution supporting San Diego State University Imperial Valley's efforts to expand its local presence. They will discuss funding improvements at the Betty Jo McNeece Receiving Home, and they will discuss the Counties Strategic Plan. The Board meeting will be at the Administration Center on Main Street in El Centro.
