Imperial Irrigation District customers can participate in the popular Residential Weatherization Program.

It's an opportunity to receive no-cost services that can help save money and energy. Participating IID electric customers can receive up to $1,000 in energy saving services and equipment that can help reduce heating and cooling costs while boosting their home's comfort level and efficiency. IID Board President Jim Hanks said, " We are happy to offer one of our most popular programs that can help customers save energy and remain cool during our summers". The no-cost services may include a smart programmable thermostat, Air conditioner tune-up, duct leak sealing, ceiling fan and LED lighting.

The program is open to all IID residential customers, including single family, multi-family manufactured homeowners and renters. Services are available on a first-come, first-served basis while 2022 program funding is available.
