Imperial County has a new Chief Executive officer.

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors have named Miguel Figueroa as the new CEO. The employment contract will be brought before the Board for final action during their March 8, 2022 regular meeting. Figueroa has served as an Administrative Analyst with the Imperial County Workforce Development Board and then as Director of the organization. In 2018 Figueroa was named Assistant City Manager of the City of Calexico and then served as City Manager of the border city. He is a graduate of Vincent Memorial High School; obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach and a Master of Public Administration form the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
